Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Penetration Testing (Pentest) Intern. The intern will assist in performing security assessments, vulnerability identification, penetration testing activities, and attack surface analysis across web applications, networks, and systems. Interns will gain hands-on experience in offensive security methodologies, vulnerability validation, and reporting under the guidance of experienced cybersecurity professionals.
Qualifications Knowledge of Penetration Testing methodologies and best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals and common attack vectors Familiarity with Web Application Security concepts (OWASP Top 10) Basic knowledge of Network Security and Vulnerability Assessment Understanding of reconnaissance and information gathering techniques Familiarity with security tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, or similar Effective communication and technical documentation skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Enrollment in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity) or equivalent practical experience is a plus
