Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons across relevant grade levels, aligning with the school’s curriculum standards.
- Teach a variety of instrumental and vocal techniques, music theory, rhythm, and ensemble performance.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance outcomes.
- Organize and supervise rehearsals, performances, concerts, and recitals for students and the school community.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across other subjects and school events.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom, manage resources, and ensure proper instrument care and inventory.
- Engage with parents/guardians to communicate student progress and upcoming performances.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the development of music programs and curricula.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field (bachelor's equivalent required).
- Early career status with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
- Strong foundational knowledge in music theory, performance, and pedagogy.
- Basic proficiency in one or more musical instruments; ability to teach voice is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and engage students.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting and participate in extracurricular activities.
- Fluent in Arabic; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
