Roles & Responsibilities

• - Ensure shipping route and cost calculation expertise for Product Line responsible in case of new product launch.

  - Ensure with GSO payable team a smooth payment for the freight forwarders shipping invoices

  Coordinate and ensure the export shipping process implementation in effective and efficient way.
• Keep the operational contacts with freight forwarders and different shipping lines
• Communicate with our sales operations offices and ensure receiving the proper shipping instructions from side
• Provide our internal and external customers with any needed info related to containerization scaling and requested RFQ rate for quotation
• Implement Egypt s transportation plan
• Handel containerization process on a regional scope
• Responsible for freight rates inquiry across the region
• Schedules, directs and coordinates logistics functions according to existing documented policies and procedures to ensure they are in place and followed
• Recommends and ensures the implementation of changes and enhancements as necessary
• Responsible for providing a detailed study of cost effective trade routes for all shipments and new projects in new markets with our global agreement and requested RFQ
• Implement and execute the shipping plans as a vital member for the global and local new projects committee
• Implement planning schedule for vessels and loading dates to avoid any storage or demurrages in customs land
• Communicate with SOP and SCM teams from order creation on system until provide customer with goods (raw material, SOP, packaging, loading , unloading in customer final destination )
• Working on KPI terms to achieve monthly targets
• Coordinate with SOP to ensure that customer receive the needed shipping documents in suitable time to avoid paying any demurrage fees to satisfy customer satisfaction.
• Provide our internal and external customers with any needed info related to containerization scaling
• Communicate with our sales operations offices in Dubai and ensure receiving the proper shipping instructions from side
• Ensure shipping route and cost calculation expertise for Product Line responsible in case of new product launch
• Reviewing the supplier's Performa invoices and negotiating with suppliers to get the best price as per delivery terms (FOB, CIF, C&F ) and the best delivery payment ( in advance , letter of credit, cash against documents or differed payment)
• Checking the shipping documents as per L/C instructions or sales contract
• Preparing monthly reports of Export scaling in Middle east and Europe volumes and target achieves

• Deploy and monitor specific local projects to improve the transportation and shipping global performance

  Monitor the transportation companies performance and creating the needed KPI to measure this performance

• Monitor all activities and communication between logistics department and other Local services provider (Freight companies, Clearance Agent, Sea Lines, Export authority control authorization).

  Coordinate the shipping process with Product Lines and sales team in Egypt.

• Coordinate with SOP to ensure that customer receive the needed shipping documents in suitable time to avoid paying any demurrage fees.
