Role Description The Senior Mechanical Technical Office role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The role is responsible for preparing and reviewing mechanical designs, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation for HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other mechanical systems. Daily tasks include studying project specifications, coordinating with design and site teams, preparing material submittals, and reviewing supplier and subcontractor technical offers. The role also involves supporting site teams with technical solutions, resolving clashes through coordination with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project standards and codes. The Senior Mechanical Technical Office professional will monitor project progress from a technical perspective, participate in value engineering, and contribute to planning and scheduling of mechanical works. The position requires regular communication with project managers, consultants, and clients to clarify technical issues and support timely project delivery.
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering• 5–7 years of experience in Mechanical Technical Office• Previous experience in Infrastructure Projects is a MUST.• Strong experience in Quantity Take-Off, BOQ preparation, and Invoices• Ability to review Shop Drawings and Technical Documents• Experience in preparing RFIs & Submittals• Good knowledge of Auto CAD & Microsoft Excel
