Job Responsibilities:Manage SQL Server, Postgre SQL and Oracle DBs through multiple lifecycle environments - Dev, QA, Staging and Production. Day-to-day performance monitoring. Trouble ticket generation, response, and escalations. Standard changes are implemented via our change control systems and processes. Participate in a 24x7 call-out rotation. Manage database patching, version upgrades, schema changes, and data migration strategies. Ticket and standard changes response for customers with a valid support contract. Ability to work in a team environment. Good attention to detail, testing, and documentation.
Qualifications:Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, or related field. From 3-5 relevant experiences as a Database Administrator supporting complex, large-scale environments. Demonstrated expertise in both RDBMS and NoSQL systems ITIL Foundation, ITIL Operation, and ITIL Transition certificates are a plus Experience in Postgre SQL, SQL Server, and ORACLE databases. Experience with database backup, recovery, and high availability solutions. Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix-based systems with strong command line and scripting abilities. Experience in Query optimizations or performance tuning. HA/DR architecture (Always On, replication, failover clusters). Troubleshooting SQL Server & Postgre SQL issues.
