Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in HVAC systems to manage the design, review, coordination, and execution of HVAC works for different projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site experience, and the ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are delivered on time and according to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and develop HVAC designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documents. Review project specifications, BOQs, material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements. Coordinate HVAC works with other disciplines such as electrical. Supervise and follow up HVAC installation activities at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Ensure HVAC systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to project requirements. Provide technical support and solutions for site issues related to HVAC systems. Review and approve equipment selection such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, fans, ductwork, and piping systems. Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure proper technical and commercial compliance. Monitor project progress and report any delays, technical risks, or required corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable codes. Support testing, commissioning, handing over, and as-built documentation. Mentor and guide junior engineers when required.
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.7–10 years of experience in HVAC design and/or execution. Strong experience in HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, DX systems, ventilation, ducting, piping, and equipment selection. Experience in reviewing shop drawings, technical submittals, BOQs, and project specifications. Good knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures. Proficiency in Auto CAD; knowledge of Revit or similar HVAC calculation software is a plus. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
