Job Title: Sales Manager – Trading & Tobacco Job Summary:The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and managing key client relationships within the trading and tobacco sector. The role requires strong commercial acumen, deep knowledge of tobacco products, and experience in distribution, wholesale, and regulatory environments. Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets Manage and grow relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts Identify new business opportunities in local and international markets Oversee product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet performance objectives Negotiate contracts, agreements, and trade terms with clients and partners Ensure compliance with tobacco regulations and company policies Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field5–10 years of sales experience, preferably in tobacco, FMCG, or trading companies Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong knowledge of tobacco products, distribution channels, and regulations Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills Experience in international trade and import/export processes is a plus Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage Key Competencies:Strategic thinking and market insight Relationship management Results-driven mindset Leadership and team development Negotiation and influencing skills Adaptability in a highly regulated industry Working Conditions:Frequent travel to meet clients and distributors Fast-paced, target-driven environment Interaction with cross-functional teams (logistics, finance, marketing)
