Sales Manager (Cairo) — Study Abroad / Education Consultancy (Study in Malaysia) Company: QETC Middle East Location: Cairo, Egypt (On-site) Reporting to: CEO (Saudi Arabia)
About the role QETC Middle East generates strong lead volume through events and marketing in Saudi Arabia. The Cairo team converts these leads into consultations, applications, and payments. We’re hiring a Sales Manager to build a repeatable, CRM-driven sales system that delivers predictable results, strengthens follow-up discipline, and reduces dependency on the CEO for closing.
Your mission Own the Cairo sales operation and deliver weekly predictable results by managing people, pipeline, and process. Create a high-performance environment with clear standards, measurable KPIs, strong coaching, and accountability. Key responsibilities Sales execution & targets Own monthly targets for enrollments and payments driven by Cairo sales operations. Drive performance through the full funnel: Lead → Qualified → Consultation Booked → Consultation Attended → Application → Payment. Pipeline & CRM ownership (non-negotiable) Maintain clean CRM stages, notes, tasks, next steps, and follow-up dates for every lead. Enforce strict speed-to-lead and follow-up cadence (no “dead leads” without a reason). Segment leads (hot/warm/cold) and prioritize event leads for rapid conversion. Team leadership (Pre-sales + Closers) Lead pre-sales reps (qualification + booking) and closers (consultations + closing). Run daily huddles, weekly 1:1 coaching, and performance reviews. Identify underperformance early and fix through training or performance improvement plans. Coaching, scripts & quality Build and continuously improve scripts for first contact, qualification, booking, objections, and closing. Review calls and Whats App conversations weekly; coach with clear feedback and expectations. Train the team to sell consultatively to students and parents and handle objections professionally. Forecasting & reporting Provide weekly forecast + KPI dashboard to the CEO (numbers, insights, blockers, actions). Report bottlenecks and propose corrective actions (training, scripts, staffing). Hiring & scaling Recruit, onboard, and ramp new hires as lead volume grows. Build onboarding SOPs and a training plan to shorten ramp time. Cross-border coordination Coordinate with Saudi operations on lead handover, promotions, scholarship/offer timelines, and service expectations. Ensure smooth handoff from Sales to Customer Support once payments start. Operating rhythm (what we expect) Daily huddle + pipeline checks + end-of-day reporting Weekly KPI dashboard + forecast review with CEOWeekly 1:1 coaching per rep + QA review + skill training session What success looks like (first 90 days) CRM cleaned, stages standardized, and KPI tracking live Stronger consultation booking/show rates + predictable forecasting Sales performance no longer depends on CEO closing the majority of deals Documented playbook: scripts, cadence, CRM rules, KPI dashboard, onboarding plan Requirements Must-have4–8 years sales experience (services / consultative / high-volume leads)5+ years managing a sales team Strong daily CRM discipline (Pipedrive/Hub Spot/Zoho/etc.) and management-by-numbers Comfortable with B2C consultative sales (students + parents) Excellent Arabic; good English is a plus Nice-to-have Study abroad / education consultancy / admissions background Inside sales / call center management with proven conversion improvement Experience building a team (hiring, onboarding, ramp plans)
