Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Furniture (FF&E) Procurement Engineer - Technical Office. The position is based in 6th of October. The role involves assisting in the procurement process for furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Core responsibilities include preparing technical documentation, assessing vendor quotations, providing material and sample approvals, coordinating with design and project teams, and ensuring that all materials meet project specifications and quality standards. The role also requires close collaboration with the supply chain, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.
Qualifications
Strong technical knowledge of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) materials and specifications. Proficiency in procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, quotation analysis, and material approvals. Proficiency in using Auto CAD, technical drawings review, and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design teams, contractors, and suppliers. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required; experience in the hospitality or interior design sector is a plus. Knowledge of project management tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
