Role OverviewThe Lifecycle Marketing Manager will be responsible for designing and executing lifecycle marketing strategies that improve user onboarding, engagement, and retention. This role focuses heavily on email marketing, CRM automation, and user journey optimization, ensuring that sellers who join the platform are properly educated, activated, and encouraged to continue using the platform to grow their businesses. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will build lifecycle funnels that guide users from first interaction through long-term engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesLifecycle Marketing & User JourneysDesign and implement lifecycle marketing strategies that support user onboarding and retention
Build automated communication flows for new user onboarding, activation, and engagement
Develop lifecycle campaigns that educate sellers on how to successfully use the platform
Email Marketing & CRM ManagementCreate and manage email campaigns including onboarding flows, product updates, and feature education
Build automated sequences such as welcome series, nurture campaigns, and engagement campaigns
Manage and optimize CRM segmentation to deliver targeted messaging
Conversion & Engagement OptimizationAnalyze user behavior to identify opportunities to improve onboarding and retention
Conduct A/B testing on messaging, subject lines, and email flows
Optimize lifecycle funnels to increase activation and repeat platform usage
Data & Performance TrackingTrack lifecycle marketing performance metrics including open rates, engagement, activation, and retention
Provide reporting and insights to help refine lifecycle marketing strategies
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to improve user experience and communication flows
QualificationsExperience2–4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or CRM marketing
Experience working with ecommerce platforms, SaaS tools, or digital marketplaces preferred
SkillsStrong experience with email marketing platforms and CRM tools
Understanding of user lifecycle funnels and customer journey optimization
Experience running segmentation strategies and automated marketing workflows
Analytical thinker with a strong data-driven mindset
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to translate product features into clear and engaging user communication
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or entrepreneurial environment
