1. Quality Control
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate inspections and testing (e.g., concrete cubes, compaction tests).
- Issue and resolve site NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when applicable.
2. Site Coordination
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural) to avoid clashes.
- Report progress and technical issues to the site manager or project engineer.
- Attend and support coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
3. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain daily site records, including site diaries, work progress, and labor reports.
- Prepare and submit RFIs (Request for Information), site instructions, and material requests.
- Track and report on work progress against schedule.
4. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Enforce safety regulations on site in coordination with the HSE team.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with civil construction.
- Report unsafe practices or incidents immediately.
5. Resource Management
- Monitor usage of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure optimal deployment of manpower and site resources.
- Request additional materials or equipment when required.
6. Drawings and Revisions
- Review shop drawings, IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, and ensure the site work follows the latest revisions.
- Highlight discrepancies and assist in resolving technical issues.
