  • Plans, controls, and organizes the planned preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance on all the utility section.

 

  • Monitors the performance of plant and equipment and revises maintenance schedules as necessary to ensure their continued effective performance.

 

  • Oversees the implementation of projects to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope, and quality), standards, and objectives.

 

  • Ensures availability of the annual spare parts for all central facilities equipment to ensure avoiding equipment breakdown.

 

  • Maintains comprehensive records of stocks and maintenance carried out.

 

  • Maintains contact with other departments to ensure that any plant shutdown is carried out at minimum cost and inconvenience.

 

  • Monitors the results of the planned maintenance program and introduces any required changes where effectiveness needs to be improved.
