Manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate accounting and reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to financial planning and internal controls to drive business performance for ARLA Group.
- Oversee full-cycle accounting: general ledger, AR/AP, fixed assets, payroll coordination, bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Egyptian GAAP/IFRS as applicable.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, cash flow models, and variance analysis, present findings to senior management.
- Monitor working capital, liquidity, and cash management; optimize cash flow and banking relationships.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory bodies; ensure timely statutory filings and tax compliance.
- Perform financial analysis to support pricing, cost control, project profitability and strategic decisions.
- Lead or support ERP/accounting system administration, improvements and month-end automation.
- Supervise, coach and develop junior finance staff; manage workload and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects, due diligence, and business case evaluations.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in accounting/finance roles; experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards, tax rules and corporate reporting; familiarity with IFRS advantageous.
- Proven experience with accounting software / ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo) and advanced Excel skills.
