???????????? ????????????????????????????:The Logistics Specialist – Import will be responsible for managing and coordinating all import activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and goods. This role plays a key part in supporting production operations by ensuring smooth customs clearance, compliance with regulations, and efficient communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????:Manage end-to-end import processes, including documentation, shipment tracking, and customs clearance. Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipment and delivery. Prepare and review all import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, B/L, certificates of origin, etc.). Ensure compliance with Egyptian customs regulations and company policies. Follow up on shipment schedules and resolve any delays or discrepancies. Calculate and verify import duties, taxes, and clearance expenses. Maintain accurate records of import transactions and update ERP systems accordingly. Collaborate with procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations. Negotiate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to obtain competitive rates. Monitor logistics costs and propose cost-saving initiatives. Handle any claims related to damaged or missing shipments. Stay updated on changes in import regulations and trade compliance requirements.
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? / ???????????????????????????????????? / ????????????????????????????????????????:Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional Experience:3–5 years of experience in import logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international shipping documentation. Experience dealing with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
