We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer – Acting Head to lead the Industrial Engineering function within our manufacturing facility. The selected candidate will oversee process optimization, manpower planning, capacity analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

This role requires strong leadership capabilities, deep manufacturing experience, and proven success in implementing Lean methodologies and cost-reduction projects.

Job Responsibilities

???? Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and supervise the Industrial Engineering team
• Develop IE strategy aligned with plant objectives
• Set departmental KPIs and monitor performance
• Report operational improvements to senior management

???? Process Optimization

• Oversee line balancing, time studies, and workflow optimization
• Improve productivity, efficiency, and throughput
• Lead factory layout optimization and capacity expansion projects

???? Continuous Improvement

• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM)
• Implement Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects and waste
• Lead cost reduction and operational excellence projects

???? Planning & Performance Monitoring

• Conduct manpower planning and productivity analysis
• Monitor KPIs (OEE, labor efficiency, scrap rate, downtime)
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions

???? Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and mass production readiness
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
