Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical or electrical engineering and a strong understanding of procurement processes, particularly in ERP systems and export purchasing. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic procurement knowledge, with a focus on both local and international sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for mechanical and electrical components, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
• Handle export purchasing, including coordinating with international suppliers, managing shipping documentation, and complying with export regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure procurement meets project timelines.
• Leverage ERP systems to track and manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
• Negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Monitor market trends and suppliers’ performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
• Resolve any issues related to procurement, including delivery delays, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare regular procurement reports and provide insights on supply chain performance.
