The Senior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for leading all maintenance operations related to pump systems and associated equipment. The role ensures high equipment reliability, fast response to breakdowns, and effective management of the service team.
Key Duties Include:
- Lead and supervise maintenance engineers and technicians
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure fast technical solutions
- Diagnose mechanical faults (bearings, seals, vibration, alignment, etc.)
- Identify basic electrical issues related to motors, control panels, and starters
- Monitor equipment performance and reduce recurring failures
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the purchasing department
- Prepare technical reports including failure analysis and maintenance costs
- Support installation, commissioning, and after-sales service when required
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Coordinate with the sales and projects teams to support customer needs
- Train and guide junior technicians to improve technical performance
