Title: Project Facilitator Engineer Location: 6th of October, Egypt Sector: Home and personal care products
Requirements:Experience: 2–5 years in a similar position within FMCG or chemicals. Language: Excellent in English Residency: resident of 6th of October or Giza Governorate.
Responsibilities:
Project Briefing & Coordination:Receive the complete project brief from the customer. Prepare a comprehensive master data file with all necessary information. Share the brief and master data with all relevant stakeholders and arrange a meeting to align on project activities, investments, and specific requirements.
Costing & Approvals:Work with the finance team to compile cost details. Share the cost estimate with the customer and obtain their approval. Receive the commercial brief and analyze it for new raw materials (RM) or packaging materials (PM) requirements.
Technical & Document Management:Collect all technical documents from the customer. Initiate material codes and assign SAP descriptions for new materials. Create material masters, recipes, and bills of materials (BOM) in SAP, and activate the Quality Assurance (QA) phase.
Supply Chain Coordination:Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the demand in codes is updated. Develop and circulate project timelines internally and with the customer. Work with the supply chain to check line allocation and capacity blocking.
Investment & Forecasting:
Process capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests related to investment requirements and ensure that estimated time of arrival (ETA) is part of the timeline. Gather rolling forecasts from the customer and share the information with the supply chain team.
Material Orders & Follow-Up:
Share details with the purchasing team to place orders for new raw and packaging materials. Follow up on purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials. Keep track of any pending documents from the customer.
Sample & Production Readiness:Generate mockup samples for customer approval. Follow up with the customer to get final approval on mockup samples. Coordinate with the copacker to ensure timely completion of activities. Arrange shade cards and ensure customer sign-off on samples.
Operational Documentation & Production:Ensure operational documents are shared with the customer for sign-off prior to commercial startup. Communicate the first production date to the customer and coordinate their attendance.
Internal Coordination & Final Alignment:Organize an internal readiness meeting with all stakeholders to finalize all aspects of the project.
