Job Title:                    People Business Partner

The role


You’ll lead on people related projects and initiatives and change programmes spanning across all business units in Egypt and across Bupa Global (BG).


You’ll provide HR advice to stakeholders and work in partnership with the People function to ensure effective delivery of strategic and operational people services.


You’ll support the BG people strategy in enabling our people and managers to self-serve using our digital platforms.   


How you’ll help us make health happen


  • Implement people activities aligned to the plan – run or change - in conjunction with the Senior People Partner.
  • Solve for business issues with relevant people solutions and interventions, working within given frameworks and considering costs and efficiencies.
  • Take assigned MU processes, frameworks and toolkits and adapts within guidelines ensuring it complies with Egypt employment law and regulatory practices.
  • Work on projects and cyclical people activity such as Pulse engagement, performance conversations and annual pay review.
  • Use standard project management tools, running projects using a project management methodology.
  • Undertake lessons learned exercises post project implementation, feeding learnings back for an improved project management methodology.
  • Input appropriate measures to test an intervention or project at the earliest stage.
  • Provide data and metrics on the progress of projects, initiatives, interventions and any part of the people and culture plan you own, quantifying achievements.
  • Assess and mitigate risks ahead of project launch, escalating appropriately.
  • Ensure there is always a robust engagement plan, creating key communications messages and plans, working in collaboration with internal communications.

You


  • Sound experience of change management, working in an HR role and environment in Egypt is essential
  • Expert knowledge of Egypt employment law and local employment processes 
  • Global experience - working across other regions outside Egypt in complex organisations within matrix structures.
  • Experience leading and embedding HR projects which span large numbers of employees to agreed benefits.
  • Working with people managers and employees to encourage adoption of processes and ways of working.
  • Experience in a regulated environment - financial services, healthcare - would be desirable.
  • CIPD qualified is desirable – relevant experience is essential.
  • Experience of business partnering across the globe in large multisite organisations with diverse demographics
  • Strong track record and extensive experience of leveraging all aspects of HR - recruitment, reward, engagement, talent, development
  • Experience of a partnering and influencing senior leaders and people managers to achieve business objectives and improve performance
  • An impressive track record of building a strong reputation for personal excellence and delivery
