Job Details

The Surveying Engineer is responsible for carrying out all surveying activities required for projects, including land surveying, setting out, leveling, and data processing. The role ensures accurate measurements, proper coordination with engineering teams, and delivery of precise survey data in compliance with project specifications and standards.

Perform land surveying works using GPS (E-Survey) and other surveying instruments for lifting, setting out, and grid leveling.

Execute surveying and setting-out activities according to approved drawings and project requirements.

Prepare and process survey data, including points, levels, and coordinates.

Transfer and plot survey data on AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Prepare contour maps, networks, and topographic drawings using Civil 3D and surveying server software.

Read, interpret, and work based on engineering drawings and layouts.

Conduct grid leveling to assess land topography and site conditions.

Work with Google Earth to export and import survey points as required.

Apply and manage different coordinate systems (local and global), including UTM, ETM, and the Egyptian coordinate system.

Ensure accuracy, quality, and proper documentation of all surveying activities.

Prepare survey reports and support project teams with required survey data.

Coordinate with site engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.


-Proficiency in working with E-Survey GPS equipment, including point surveying, setting out, and preparing grid leveling.-Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.-Good command of Microsoft Excel and Word.-Ability to handle survey points and transfer them to AutoCAD and Civil 3D.-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.-Execution of surveying and setting-out works.-Proficiency in using Google Earth, exporting points, and importing them into surveying software.-Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, both local and global, such as UTM and ETM, with understanding of zones within the Egyptian coordinate system.-Performing land surveying using GPS, plotting results on Civil 3D, and preparing grid leveling to analyze land topography.-Ability to read and interpret contour lines.-Proficiency in using survey server software to create networks and draw contour maps, as well as generating contour maps using Civil 3D.
