The Agricultural Procurement Section Head is responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and securing the supply of agricultural raw materials required for production—such as sesame, sugar, oils, grains, nuts, spices, or other commodities according to the factory’s portfolio.
- Develop and implement agricultural procurement plans aligned with production forecasts and budget.
- Maintain a strong supplier database with updated pricing, certifications, and performance records.
- Build long-term partnerships with reliable suppliers to ensure continuous supply.
- Lead price negotiations, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract clauses.
- Issue purchase orders and prepare/renew annual supply contracts.
- Monitor lead times and manage supply risks, especially during harvest seasons.
