JOB PURPOSE:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, leading day-to-day operations, and ensuring the successful delivery of campaigns. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, the Account Manager balances strategic thinking with flawless project execution. This role might mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with internal departments to maintain high-quality standards, client satisfaction, and account profitability.
DIMENSIONS:
- Financial: Responsible for input and monitoring of financial estimates, budgets, and profitability tracking for assigned accounts.
- Non-Financial: Responsible for client servicing quality, internal coordination, and team development within assigned projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Act as the focal point for assigned client accounts, leading day-to-day communication and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Manage projects from briefing to delivery, including timelines, budgets, production, and reporting ensuring on-time and high-quality execution.
- Develop clear and insightful client briefs that translate marketing objectives into actionable plans for internal teams.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of client presentations, ensuring strategic and creative clarity.
- Oversee social and digital content delivery, ensuring all materials adhere to approved calendars and brand guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, accountability, and value creation.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with senior management.
- Partner with strategy, creative, and media teams to deliver integrated campaigns and proactive recommendations.
- Provide strategic input in discussions related to market trends, audience insights, and competitive landscapes.
- Support quality assurance across all deliverables, reviewing materials before client submission.
- Mentor Account Executives and Senior Account Executives, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Handle conflict resolution and problem-solving within accounts to ensure smooth collaboration and client satisfaction.
- Report on account financials as per agency processes.
