Otis is expanding and seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer for one of our entities in Egypt. The role holder will conduct safety inspections, address customer complaints, and support recovery efforts Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by expertly maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical solutions for OTIS and Other brands lifts and escalators.
• Assist in recovery efforts and deliver technical reports to support the sales team in acquiring new, safely recovered units.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections of portfolio units and address customer complaints.
• Support the creation and implementation of field standard work instructions.
• Guide newcomers through orientation programs (mechanics, engineers, subcontractors).
• Act as an auditor to ensure compliance with company rules and regulations on ethics, safety, and controls.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• At least 10 years of experience in the elevator and escalator sector.
• Strong skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Commitment to professionalism, with safety as your priority.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using electronic and digital tools.
• Very good knowledge of English language
