Procurement Supervisor – Automotive Manufacturing

About the Company Abouelyazeed is the leading Egyptian manufacturer of automotive exhaust systems, tubes, and sheet metal components, serving OEMs and Tier-1 customers. As part of strengthening our supply chain operations, we are seeking a Procurement Supervisor to manage daily purchasing activities and supplier coordination.
Role Purpose The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for executing purchasing activities, ensuring on-time availability of materials and services in line with production requirements, while maintaining cost discipline and supplier performance. This is a hands-on operational role, critical to preventing material shortages and supporting production continuity.
Key Responsibilities Execute purchase orders for raw materials, components, and consumables in line with approved plans. Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve delays or shortages. Maintain accurate purchase records, pricing, and supplier data in the ERP system. Coordinate closely with Planning/MRP, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance teams. Support supplier evaluations and performance tracking (OTIF, quality issues). Assist in price negotiations and cost-control initiatives under SCM guidance. Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and approval levels. Support audits and documentation related to procurement activities.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent.5–7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment (automotive/sheet metal preferred). Strong follow-up and communication skills with suppliers. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and purchasing modules. Good understanding of basic inventory and material planning concepts. Good command of English (written and spoken).
