Job Summary:
Oversees all spare parts operations related to the Body & Paint (B&P) division, ensuring accurate parts availability, efficient inventory management, smooth workflow with technicians, and high customer satisfaction. The role supports both body repair and paint shop operations by providing timely, cost‑effective parts and materials.
Inventory Management Maintain optimal stock levels based on historical data, repair trends, and weekly B&P operational demands. Conduct regular physical stock counts to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies. Minimize obsolete, slow‑moving, and excess parts through continuous monitoring and corrective action. Ensure proper tagging, labeling, binning, and documentation of all parts and materials. Monitor paint materials usage and ensure availability of consumables for uninterrupted operations. Parts Operations & Workflow Support Ensure timely issuance of parts and materials to body and paint technicians to avoid workflow delays. Coordinate with workshop supervisors to prioritize repair orders and pre‑pick required parts. Support the estimation team with accurate parts identification for repair quotations. Ensure all parts movements are recorded in the system accurately and in real time. Process Optimization & Compliance Implement best‑practice inventory and parts counter processes in line with company policies. Ensure compliance with safety, storage, and quality standards for all B&P parts and paint materials. Identify gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Maintain clean, organized, and audit‑ready parts storage areas. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and supervise parts counter staff, storekeepers, and inventory personnel. Provide training on parts identification, system usage, and inventory processes. Set performance objectives, monitor achievements, and support continuous development. Enforce discipline, teamwork, and adherence to operational standards. Customer Service & Coordination Ensure high service levels to both internal customers (workshop, estimators, technicians) and external customers. Resolve parts‑related issues promptly and professionally. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely availability and quality of parts.
Minimum Qualifications:
English proficiency: Very good spoken and written.3–5 years of experience in automotive parts, preferably within Body & Paint (B&P) operations. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts, paint materials, consumables, and repair processes. Excellent Communication Skills
