- Contract and Drawing Analysis
- Receive contracts and engineering drawings via SAP.
- Study contracts to determine required dimensions, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
- Production Process Management
Plan and manage product manufacturing stages, including:
- Cutting Stage: Define specifications, hand over work orders to cutting technicians, and verify compliance before transferring to the next stage.
- Punch Stage: Determine punching specifications, issue work orders, and monitor execution to ensure quality and accuracy.
CNC Machine Operation:
Programming & Setup:
- Write, edit, and download operating programs to CNC machine software.
- Access machine software via DOS and convert engineering drawings from CAD to CAM and G-Code.
- Transfer programs to machines via cable and validate first-piece output against specifications.
Salvagnini Machine Operations:
- Develop programs directly on the machine’s software.
- Define geometric dimensions, bending specifications, and tooling requirements.
- Initiate production and verify the quality of initial output.
Production Monitoring & Quality Assurance:
- Track work order progress, ensuring alignment with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Hand over products to subsequent production stages for further processing.
Machine Maintenance:
- Oversee preliminary machine maintenance, including cleaning, oil level checks, and temperature monitoring.
Team Supervision & Compliance:
Ensure technicians adhere to:
- Operational procedures and work systems.
- Product and machine operating instructions.
- Occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Workplace organization, cleanliness, and scheduling protocols.
