Job Summary
An Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, advising customers on necessary repairs and maintenance, and ensuring that all services are performed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical knowledge of vehicles, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service: Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and provide clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance.
2. Vehicle Inspection: Inspect vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance, and communicate findings to customers.
3. Service Recommendations: Advise customers on recommended services, repairs, and maintenance, and provide detailed estimates.
4. Repair Authorization: Obtain customer authorization for repairs and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.
5. Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and other operation team to ensure seamless service delivery.
6. Technical automotive Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on vehicle systems, components, and technologies to provide accurate advice and recommendations.
