Senior Analyst, Demand Planning

Function: Supply Chain – Demand Planning
Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and collaborative Senior Analyst, Demand Planning to drive accurate demand forecasts and enable data‑driven decisions across the MENAPT region. In this role, you will synthesize market insights, historical performance, commercial inputs, and advanced analytics to shape a reliable demand signal that aligns cross‑functional teams and fuels business growth. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain Planning to ensure demand assumptions are robust, transparent, and continuously improving.
About the Role
As Senior Analyst, Demand Planning, you will lead the creation, validation, and communication of demand forecasts across product categories. You’ll play a key role in evaluating promotional impacts, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving forecast accuracy through structured reviews and root‑cause analysis. This role reports directly to the Associate Manager, Demand Planning MENAPT.
About the Team
You will be part of the MENAPT Demand Planning team—an agile, cross-functional, and performance‑driven group that partners closely with Commercial and Supply Chain colleagues to ensure an efficient and responsive supply network. The team values analytical rigor, strong communication, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities
- Use and maintain demand planning systems to generate accurate forecasts using statistical models and structured inputs.
- Collect and analyze commercial inputs including distribution changes, pricing adjustments, NPD/discontinuations, trade plans, and historical trends.
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Finance to assess promotional activities, expected uplift, cannibalization, and execution performance.
- Communicate demand forecasts, confidence levels, underlying assumptions, risks, and opportunities to Supply Chain and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to address forecast gaps through error and bias analysis and RCA‑driven action planning.
- Track, analyze, and share key performance indicators (KPIs) while driving continuous improvements in forecasting accuracy and process discipline.
Experience You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related business field.
- 3–4 years of experience in Supply Chain or Business roles with exposure to cross‑functional environments and S&OP/IBP processes.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in demand planning and forecasting tools within the FMCG industry.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
- Ability to influence decision‑making across functions and levels.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
