- CBE Requirements
Responsibilities:
1 Implementing and administering all segments of the bank' s Security and Safety Program, including physical, technical, personnel and electronic security.
2 Providing continual written reports to Head of Security concerning security and safety issues.
3 Supervising the implementation of required security and safety reporting devices and processes at all levels,
4 Selecting, maintaining and testing appropriate intrusion devices, alarms and cameras that record activity in appropriate locations that warn off threats plus Safety equipment.
5 Implementing physical Security and Safety procedures and processes for the entire bank, locations, plans for reducing or eliminating premises liability issues and site analysis and threat assessment documentation. 6 Over viewing courier and armored car carrier processes and policy compliance.
7 Investigating all suspected internal and external criminal violations,suspicious incidents and policy violations that may become security issues.
8 Coordinate with police authorities the branches' guards assigning Monitor the performance standard of guarding service and control the related financial issues.
9 Follow up all security outsources companies and insure that the job role is done according to Mashreq bank standard level.
10 Apply all security and safety aspects provided by CBE
11 Coordinate with CBE on quarterly basis by sending periodically reports.
12 Follow up with branches responsible the applying of both Mashreq and CBE safety and security aspects
13 Manage Mashreq relations with district & government authorities for all the procedures related to any requested licenses.
14 Responsible for designing and / or applying safety training programs to staff (i.e.: evacuation plan, firefighting procedures)
Governmental relations in the context of security within a bank involve ensuring compliance with regulations related to security measures and maintaining effective communication with government agencies. Responsibilities Are:

Training and Awareness: Conducting training sessions for staff on security
Recommend selection of vendors (the outsource security company).
Assisting Security manager in day to day activities in security area.
Responsible to ensure adherence to internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
Handle Mashreq relations with district authorities. Main effective advisor for crisis team.
