Job Summary & Purpose
The e Commerce Assistant Manager will oversee and drive the success of the company’s omni channel e Commerce operations in Egypt. This role is central to ensuring that the omni channel e Commerce functions seamlessly while achieving business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The e Commerce Assistant Manager will lead cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with strategic goals, and manage the end-to-end customer journey.
Key Performance Areas
Develop and execute a comprehensive e Commerce strategy that aligns with overall business goals. Identify opportunities for growth by analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities specific to the Egypt market. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create a seamless omni channel experience across online and offline touchpoints. Manage and supervise day-to-day e Commerce operations, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and stock availability. Monitor and improve key operational processes, ensuring on-time deliveries, efficient returns, and order fulfillment. Work closely with the Fulfillment Manager/Team to optimize last-mile delivery and resolve logistics challenges. Ensure the e Commerce operations comply with Egypt regulations, including consumer rights, data privacy, and tax requirements. Adapt strategies to cater to regional customer preferences, offering a localized shopping experience
Qualitative Requirements
8+ years in e Commerce operations, with leadership experience managing cross-functional teams. MBA in Sales and Marketing is desirableexpertise in e Commerce tools like OMS, SAP, and Seller Portals. Experience with BI tools and analytics platforms. Strong understanding of the Egypt e Commerce market, including customer preferences, regulatory requirements, and logistics challenges. Data-driven mindset with the ability to extract insights and optimize performance.
