Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
General Accountant who will also support
office management and administrative tasks. The role is fully on-site and requires a hands-on professional who can manage day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring smooth office operations in a fast-paced logistics and supply chain environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
- Record, review, and maintain daily accounting transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Issue invoices, track collections, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and general ledger accounts.
- Support payroll preparation and coordination with external accountants when needed.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings and audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Office Management & Administration
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure a well-organized work environment.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor coordination.
- Support HR-related administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, employee files, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers.
- Handle general administrative duties, including correspondence, scheduling, and document management.
- Support management with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as required.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a General Accountant; experience in logistics or supply chain is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Odoo and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle both accounting and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work on-site in Heliopolis / Sheraton.
