<p>To manage and maintain Active directory and Exchange systems.</p>
<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p>
<ol><li>Install new and rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage.</li><li>Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; contribute to and maintain system standards.</li><li>Perform daily system and security monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs.</li><li>Perform daily backup operations, ensure all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media and integrity checked regularly.</li><li>Provide support to various end user and developer groups by request.</li><li>Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis.</li><li>Administering, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Exchange server.</li><li>Managing mailboxes, public folders, and other mailbox resources.</li><li>Troubleshooting Exchange server issues and performance tuning.</li><li>Developing and implementing anti-spam and anti-virus measures.</li><li>Creating and managing mailbox stores and distribution groups.</li><li>Configuring and managing mobile devices that link to Exchange.</li><li>Performing backups, restores, and setting up disaster recovery plans.</li><li>Monitoring Exchange server performance and optimizing server resources.</li><li>Performing Exchange server upgrades and patching as needed.</li><li>Providing end-user support and troubleshooting.</li></ol>
<p><strong>Job specification</strong></p>
<p>Education</p>
<ol><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any related field from a recognized university.</li></ol>
<p>Experience.</p>
<ol><li>5 years experience working in IT.</li><li>Experience engineering support of Active Directory, DNS, and any additional Microsoft.</li><li>Experience with Active Directory including GPO, DNS and DHCP.</li><li>Experience with capacity planning, performance monitoring and maintenance planning to ensure high availability.</li><li>Work closely with network engineering in the development, coordination, troubleshooting of enterprise network security systems and implementation of appropriate rulesets.</li><li>Participate with implementation of solutions involving data encryption, data masking, secure file transfers, and data leakage prevention. Supports new initiatives related to regulatory mandates.</li><li>Assist in maintaining Application Packaging Standards / Desktop Standards / Hardware Imaging / OS Patches, etc.</li><li>Design / Develop PowerShell Scripts for Automation of Operational Process, where appropriate</li><li>Implement / Support Security Policies / Audits - Troubleshoot / Resolve Security Permissions Issues.</li><li>Interface with Systems Admins / DBAs to Improve Operational Processes / Engineering Standards, etc.</li><li>Experience with at least one scripting language (PowerShell / VBScript / Python, etc.).</li><li>Exchange Administration / Support; SQL Server Administration / Support.</li></ol>
<p>Must have the following certificates:</p>
<ul><li>Microsoft Office 365 Certified: Administrator Expert</li><li>Azure Solution Architect Expert</li></ul>
