  • Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs for employees to promote EHS awareness and best practices.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with operational teams and engineering to integrate EHS considerations into daily activities and decision-making processes, as well as in site and process design.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to EHS initiatives, incidents, and compliance.
  • Report mandatory EHS performance to authorities.
  • Stay updated on industry-specific regulations and standards, ensuring the organization's practices remain compliant.
  • Liaise with external agencies, authorities, and stakeholders on EHS matters.
  • Monitor waste management and environmental practices to ensure sustainable operations.
  • Provide reports and updates to senior management on the company's EHS performance and initiatives.
  • Legal compliance of operations and permitting for operational changes.
