Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Supporting the management of Health, Safety and Environment, as relating to Off-line Cutting ( Permit to work, Safe systems of work, Risk assessments...etc)
- Procedures reviewed & kept up to date.
- Investigation and reporting of incidents and accidents.
- Supporting management of line performance.
- Monitoring the Off-line Cutting performance in terms of production rate & efficiency.
- Reporting equipment breakdown to maintenance, and direct follow up on the repair jobs to minimize.
- Tracking & reporting line performance in the determined channels.
- Minimize downtime losses through management & follow up of Off-line Cutting related equipment problems.
- Coordinating the maintenance activities for the planned stoppages.
- Actualization of AM activities on shop floor.
- Support the day-to-day operation of Off-line Cutting production on the shop floor to ensure meeting the shifts targets, the performance standards and the company policies.
- Control of Glass In & Out on ORION.
- Management of all activities related to the Offline Cutting.
- Management of CAPEX projects (Initiation & Follow up..).
- Ensuring the implementation and evolution of safety procedures and ensuring that health and safety guidelines are being followed on the shop floor.
- Implementing, contributing and driving continuous improvement activities through implementation of cost savings projects and best practices.
- Interacting among different functions i.e., shifts maintenance, planning, warehouse and Safety as necessary.
- Ensuring the complete compliance to prescribed IMS and 5S processes in the shifts.
- Supporting/enhancing the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) lean-six sigma approach/projects in different areas.
