  • Supervision of Subordinates
  • Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within the factory is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner

 

  • Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures:
  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

 

  • Day- to-day Operations:
  • Apply the day-to-day operations of Electrical &instrumentation shift to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
  • Lead and Assist Electrical &instrumentation maintenance and repair work on plant and equipment in all areas to keep productivity as Plant Target.
  • Troubleshoot, and Locate equipment faults and operating irregularities by making the necessary diagnostic tests, measurements and analyses, and plan toward remedy to eliminate breakdowns and reduce downtimes.
  • Assist with the implementation of preventative maintenance.
  • Procedures and requirements for Electrical &instrumentation equipment in order to increase the efficiency of the devices.
  • Identify legislative requirements and regulations, ensuring Electrical &instrumentation equipment and practice in order to meet those requirements and Company policy.
  • Assist in identifying spare parts and materials requirements for Electrical &instrumentation sections for procurement by the Purchasing Department in order to meet those requirements and Company policy.
  • If required, take on the role of control & refinery Engineer (e.g., during vacation period) to keep the plant productivity.
  • Assist in identifying and organizing plant replacement when required in order to keep productivity as Plant Target.
  • Complete an end of shift report and carry out effective communication & handover activities to track the devices performance.
  • Manage his team, with particular emphasis on training them in order to cope with new technological developments.
  • Ensures that attendance records are maintained for staff under his control, applies disciplinary procedures and reports disciplinary matters as required to complete tasks on time.
  • Correctly manage and report all maintenance activities and assets data / records through company ORACLE to keep continuous and valid records for all assets.

 

  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

     
  • Health, Safety, & Environment:
  • Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

 

  • Quality & Food safety: 
  • Monitor the adherence to all relevant quality & food safety procedures and controls to guarantee employee commitment, legislative (NFSA) compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible GMP attitude.

 

  • Related Assignments:
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
