Job Details

The Corporate Responsibility Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring labor and social compliance programs within apparel manufacturing operations. This role ensures full alignment with international labor standards, local labor laws, and the codes of conduct of major global sports brands. The manager acts as the key liaison between factories, brand partners, auditors, and internal teams to maintain ethical, transparent, and compliant operations.


Labor Standards & ComplianceEnsure compliance with local labor laws, international labor standards (ILO), and brand-specific codes of conductOversee working hours, wages, benefits, child labor prevention, forced labor prevention, and freedom of associationMonitor health & safety, grievance mechanisms, and worker welfare programsManage social compliance audits (announced, semi-announced, and unannounced) conducted by brands and third-party auditorsPrepare facilities and documentation for audits and assessmentsLead corrective action plans (CAPs), track progress, and ensure timely closureAct as the main contact point for brand sustainability and compliance teamsDevelop and implement internal policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with brand and legal requirementsTraining & Capacity BuildingDeliver or coordinate training for management, HR, and workers on labor standards, code of conduct requirements, and ethical workplace practicesPromote awareness of workers’ rights and responsibilitiesStakeholder EngagementCollaborate with HR, production, EHS, and legal teamsEngage with NGOs, consultants, and external stakeholders when neededSupport brand visits and transparency initiativesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Law, Sustainability, or a related field5+ years of experience in social compliance, corporate responsibility, or ethical sourcing in the apparel/footwear industryStrong knowledge of labor laws, ILO standards, and brand codes of conduct (e.g., Nike, adidas, Puma, etc.)Experience managing social audits (SMETA, WRAP, BSCI, SA8000, or brand-specific audits)Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of labor practices in apparel manufacturingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work with multicultural teams and external auditorsStrong documentation, reporting, and analytical skillsProblem-solving mindset with a focus on corrective action and improvementWork Conditions:•                Based full-time at Milteks Egypt manufacturing facility.•                May require occasional travel to corporate office or other regional sites.
