We are seeking an experienced Odoo Implementation Consultant (Tech Lead) to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Odoo ERP systems, coupled with a deep understanding of financial processes and workflows. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Odoo solutions, ensuring they meet our clients' unique business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide ongoing support and training to users. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing business processes and driving efficiency through technology.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the end-to-end implementation of Odoo ERP systems, ensuring successful project delivery within timelines and budgets.
  2. Configure Odoo standard modules, including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and CRM, to align with client requirements.
  3. Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python and XML to enhance functionality and meet specific business needs.
  4. Create and modify reports using QWeb, ensuring accurate and relevant data presentation for decision-making.
  5. Perform data migration utilizing Odoo import tools and scripts to ensure seamless transition from legacy systems.
  6. Integrate Odoo with third-party systems, including basic APIs and payment gateways, to enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Manage source code using Git, ensuring version control and collaboration among team members.
  8. Conduct bug fixing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity and user satisfaction.
  9. Prepare deployment strategies for Development, Testing, and Production environments, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
  10. Stay updated on the latest Odoo releases and features, providing insights on how they can benefit our clients' operations.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as an Odoo Implementation Consultant or similar role, with a minimum of 4 years in ERP implementation.
  2. Strong understanding of financial services and related business processes.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and clients.
  5. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members.
  6. Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of implementation and documentation.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
