Job Description (Duties & Responsibilities):

  • Oversee and manage all internal purchasing activities and develop operational purchasing plans.
  • Manage and execute tenders and practices in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Follow up on the procurement cycle from purchase requests to contracting and delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate best prices and terms.
  • Analyze markets and pricing trends to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the purchasing team and monitor performance.
  • Coordinate with different departments to meet operational needs efficiently.
  • Prepare periodic purchasing reports and submit them to senior management.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of purchasing policies and procedures.
