  • Collect and analyze the costs of raw materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead.
  • Prepare periodic production cost reports, compare actual costs to planned costs, and analyze variances.
  • Monitor production orders and ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Prepare product cost reports and determine the final cost per unit.
  • Review inventory transactions (raw materials, work in progress – finished goods) and ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and analyze discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with production and purchasing departments to improve resource efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Contribute to developing cost policies and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for management, including factory performance analysis.
