HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team with experience in the architecture and engineering consultancy industry. You will lead our HR function in Cairo working closely with colleagues based un the UAE. Reporting to the Global HR Director and working closely with the Regional Manager in charge of the Cairo design centre, you will support in developing and implementing HR plans that align with our business goals, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. You will be responsible for overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training and development for the Cairo Office, working in close collaboration with department heads to support organisational growth, employee retention and career pathways.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement HR initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Oversee Egypt brand awareness to support the recruitment processes, attracting and retaining top talent.
  3. Manage employee relations.
  4. Lead performance management initiatives, to develop employee growth and line manager accountability.
  5. Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  6. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
  7. Collaborate with management to implement plans that attract and retain talent.
  8. Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the architecture or related industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  4. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
  9. Relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
