Overall Job Purpose:  

Responsible for conceiving, architecting, designing, and engineering new products and exterior/interior parts/elements of Bus body. You will work alongside Product and Process Engineers through all stages of the product design cycle: from initial sketch, through architecture and design, and finally to validation and product launch. Your creativity, design & engineering skills will shape our products from the inside and outside. 

• Conceptualize and design of new parts or improvement of existing parts, components and style elements for exterior and interior bus body
• Achieve innovation-driven results, targeting to enhance appearance, function, quality, cost, weight as well as production efficiency
• Calculates and defines key features to meet required functional specifications using standard reference books or procedures.
• Uses computer programs (CAD software) for detailed design, generating parts lists and specifications.
• Give support to the prototype team during the preparation of molds, making the interfaces required.
• Development of products, proposing new concepts and solutions, or improving current products, according to the technological evolution, ergonomic and safety rules.
• Support manufacturing processes and material selections to achieve world class execution of automotive exterior craftsmanship and fit and finish.
