Job Purpose
The Personnel & Payroll Head is responsible for leading and supervising all personnel administration functions and payroll operations to ensure full legal compliance, accurate salary processing, and smooth employee lifecycle management. This role oversees personnel files, attendance, social insurance, labor office relations, and payroll calculations, ensuring timely and error-free delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Personnel Management
Oversee and maintain employees’ personnel files in full compliance with labor law requirements.
Supervise onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper documentation (contracts, renewals, resignations, clearance forms, etc.).
Manage employee attendance, leaves, overtime, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and social insurance regulations.
Conduct regular audits of personnel records and documentation.
Payroll Management
Lead and supervise the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Review inputs: attendance, overtime, rewards, deductions, penalties, loans, and allowances.
Coordinate with Finance and HR teams for salary transfers and payroll reports.
Handle payroll-related queries and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Government Relations
Manage all dealings with Labor Office, Social Insurance Office, and other governmental authorities.
Ensure updated application of social insurance and income tax regulations.
Follow up on legal changes and ensure company compliance.
System & Process Management
Improve personnel and payroll workflows for better accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure proper use and update of HRIS/payroll systems.
Generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in related field.7–10 years of progressive experience in personnel and payroll, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance Law.Solid experience with HRIS and payroll systems.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Key CompetenciesLeadership & Team ManagementAttention to DetailProblem-SolvingConfidentiality & IntegrityTime ManagementStrong Excel & Reporting Skills
