Job Purpose:
To minimize credit risk exposure to the lowest possible level by reviewing and verifying documents and financial statements of microfinance clients to ensure compliance with all credit terms and conditions in accordance with the institution’s credit policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and audit all credit documentation submitted for microfinance lending through umbrella NGOs/institutions (Categories A, B, and C) and microfinance companies to ensure compliance with the institution’s credit policy.
- Review and analyze financial statements, assess credit risk, and evaluate the creditworthiness of each case individually, including assessing intermediary entities (umbrella NGOs/institutions—Categories A, B, and C—and microfinance companies). Review the maximum financing limit for each entity and prepare recommendations for submission to the relevant committees.
- Review and audit credit cases related to microfinance projects submitted through banks for presentation to the competent committees.
- Review and audit requests for rescheduling or settlement of intermediary entities’ debts, as well as requests for referral to the Legal Affairs Department, and prepare recommendations for submission to the relevant committees.
