Purpose of the job
Provides technical assistance to users, troubleshoots and resolves software issues, and supports the maintenance and deployment of applications. Key duties include monitoring performance, diagnosing problems, escalating issues to vendors, and documenting solutions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Investigate, diagnose, and fix technical problems reported by users, including performance, connectivity, and bug-related issues.
- Monitor application performance & system alerts, and assist with routine maintenance tasks.
- Create and maintain documentation, including knowledge base articles, support procedures, and records of resolutions.
- Assist with development, application testing, installation, and deployment of new releases or fixes.
- Commit to system functionality and user satisfaction in rapidly growing and changing environments.

Education
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Experience
- From 0-2 years of professional experience
Skills and abilities
- Strong skills with SQL for querying and reporting.
- Technical Background in Databases like (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
- Experience with operating systems like Windows, and sometimes UNIX/Linux
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages or web technologies (e.g., .NET, C#, HTML, XML) is a plus.
