Legal Associate

Purpose of the job

Support all aspects of the business by providing timely legal and regulatory advice to protect company and manage legal and regulatory risks.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on complex issues to support business and legal decision-making.
  2. Act as a strategic partner to various business departments, offering professional legal
    solutions and deep involvement in their operations.
  3. Provide expert legal advice on specific topics, including telecom regulations, competition, corporate affairs, commercial agreements, procurement, and employment law.
  4. Offer day-to-day guidance to senior executives and other business department members on government contracting issues, resolve existing relationship issues, and handle legal disputes and inquiries.
  5. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, provide legal training, and promote
    awareness within the business to ensure compliance with laws and company policies,
    preventing violations.
  6. Manage communication and represent the company at governmental bodies concerning legal matters.
  7. Ensure business departments adhere to regulations, consumer protection guidelines, and competition rules and laws.
  8. Collaborate directly with business teams to structure, draft, and negotiate commercial
    transactions, reviewing, and drafting a wide range of contracts and subcontracts for both public and private sector customers.
  9. Interface with relevant business units to comprehend transaction strategies and provide
    legal assessments of terms and conditions.
  10. Analyze contract terms to identify potential opportunities and risks, highlighting areas of concern.
  11. Support business units in verifying the fulfillment of contractual obligations by parties
    involved.
  12. Participate in contract negotiations, formulation, and implementation, defining
    negotiation strategies.
  13. Assess legal risks, offer recommendations, develop key contract formats, establish
    contractual structures and regulatory frameworks, and draft and negotiate various
    contracts and legal documents for engagements with third parties.
  14. Advise on terminations and address issues arising in business relationships, handling and resolving related claims or proceedings, including pre-litigation disputes and claims.

Job specification

Education

  1. Bachelor's degree from a recognized university (Bachelors degree in Law 'French or English section is mandatory\").

Experience.

  1. From 0 to 1 Year of Experience In The Same Function.
