To manage and prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders in accordance with client requirements and company capabilities, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions that support business growth.
- Analyze and evaluate tender documents (RFQs, RFPs, ITBs) to understand project scope, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive technical and commercial proposals within required timelines.
- Coordinate with various internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance, legal) to gather necessary information for the bid.
- Estimate quantities, costs, and resources required for the project using drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and technical data.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, company standards, and applicable regulations in all submissions.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and clarification sessions with clients.
- Maintain records of past bids, pricing history, and supplier databases for future reference.
- Assist in the post-tender process such as clarifications, negotiations, and contract award preparation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to enhance the quality of tenders submitted.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant discipline).
- minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or proposals
- Strong knowledge of project costing, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, Primavera, Excel).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
