Responsible for the design, implementation, and management of HVAC systems, fire fighting systems, plumbing, and drainage systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and local/international standards, while supervising execution and monitoring quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare designs and engineering drawings using specialized software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform heat load calculations and determine the capacity of HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
- Design HVAC systems, fire fighting systems, plumbing, and drainage systems according to international codes and standards.
- Review and approve shop drawings and technical specifications.
- Supervise on-site installation works and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate mechanical works with civil and electrical works to ensure project integration.
- Prepare periodic technical reports on work progress and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Select and approve mechanical materials and equipment in accordance with specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all project stages.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and execution of HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, and drainage works.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, etc.).
- Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
