We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in the maintenance and operation of diesel and gas generators. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising, maintaining, and ensuring the optimal performance of generators across company sites.
The role includes conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, preparing technical reports, and coordinating with the electrical and operations teams to ensure a reliable power supply.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the oil & gas, power generation, or rotating equipment.Demonstrated expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for design and analysis.Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Experience with technical documentation and report preparation.Willingness to travel to project sites as required.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
