Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

• Engage with business users to understand procurement, inventory, and material management requirements.
• Document detailed functional requirements, process flows, and business scenarios.
• Identify gaps between SAP standard functionality and business requirements and propose solutions.

2. SAP MM Configuration & Implementation:

• Configure SAP MM module including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, Valuation, and Account Determination.
• Set up pricing procedures, source lists, quota arrangements, and info records.
• Ensure proper integration with SAP SD, PP, FI/CO, and WM modules.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA conversion, upgrade, or roll-out projects if applicable.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Prepare and execute Unit Test Scripts, Integration Test Scripts, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support functional and technical teams in resolving defects and issues identified during testing.
• Validate that business requirements are met and processes function as intended in SAP.

4. Documentation & Training:

• Prepare functional specification documents for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Develop end-user training materials and conduct training sessions for SAP MM users.
• Document workflows, processes, and configuration settings for future reference.

5. Support & Continuous Improvement:

• Provide ongoing post-implementation support to resolve SAP MM-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate processes, and optimize SAP MM functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent processes across the organization.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory, materials planning, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with SAP configuration, customization, integration, and SAP best practices.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and technical teams.
• SAP MM Certification.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for procurement and materials management.
• Experience with SAP reporting tools (BW, Analytics Cloud).
• Knowledge of global procurement and supply chain best practices.
• Prior experience in large-scale SAP implementations or rollouts.
