- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to align structural solutions with project vision and client requirements
- Develop detailed shop drawings, material take-offs, and BOQs for steel and tensile structure project
- Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure feasibility and compatibility with design intent
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure technical specifications and material quality are met
- Conduct structural analysis using specialized software (e.g. SAP2000, STAAD Pro, Tekla, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Provide technical support during the fabrication and installation phases
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes, safety standards, and best engineering practices
- Optimize structural designs to ensure cost-effectiveness and structural integrity
Prepare periodic progress reports and technical submittals for project stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural EngineeringMinimum 3 years of experience in steel structure and tensile structure detailingProficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, and SAP2000 or equivalent analysis softwareStrong knowledge of international and local design codes (e.g. AISC, BS, Eurocodes)Experience in preparing shop drawings, BOQs, and material take-offsExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a teamAbility to handle multiple projects and meet deadlinesGood command of English (spoken and written)Familiarity with fabrication and installation procedures of steel and tensile structures
